What This Service Covers
I edit literature reviews for clarity, coherence, and completeness. I assess whether sources are integrated logically, whether themes and comparisons remain clear, and whether the review builds a focused, well-supported narrative.
I focus on how the literature review reads to faculty, committees, and reviewers who assess command of the literature and strength of synthesis.
How I Work
I read literature reviews with attention to structure, logic, and progression of ideas. I identify gaps in synthesis, unclear relationships between sources, missing context, and shifts in focus that weaken the overall argument.
I edit with academic evaluators in mind, shaping the writing so the literature review presents a clear, organized account of the existing research.

I follow the style guide and formatting requirements that apply to your literature review. This includes citations, references, headings, and consistency in source presentation.
I work most often with APA and also follow institutional guidelines and journal requirements when the literature review supports a larger submission.

Before founding my editing practice, I served as an English-language editor at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, editing academic and technical documents for international audiences.
